The agency opened its office in Jackson, Ohio on August 1, 2002. We operate under the name Rosemount City Insurance Agency, Inc. which was formed when Rosemont City Insurance Agency, Inc. acquired the accounts of Ronald D. Scott, who continues his involvement with the Company as senior agent.

     Post-acquisition activity has seen a relocation of the office to a central location within our operating area with greater customer access. The office has been equipped with new computers, furnishings and other business machines including high speed Internet. The staff has been expanded to include a total of four full-time agents to serve you.

     Rosemont City Insurance Agency, Inc. was first authorized to do business by the Ohio Department of Insurance on February 22, 1977 under license number 3389 offering property, casualty, accident and health, life, credit and variable annuities. The agency is part of Glockner Enterprises, which traces its history in southern Ohio back to 1848. Glockner Enterprises is comprised of nine separately chartered businesses, with 245 employees generating $100 million in annual sales.

     We first contemplated the acquisition of an independent insurance agency to extend the vertical integration of our products and services. We boast a one-stop-shopping concept for independent and small fleet truckers. We provide tractors, trailers, lubricants, fuel, parts and service, financing and now insurance. We find significant opportunities to market this basket of services to our captive client base in addition to attracting new clients with our offerings.
